Team 15 Waveriders champions in 2009?
24th Feb

Here is an ex T15 member in action. Will Jack, Clea and Sami be coaching this years' champions cup winning team? It's time to warm up your wetsuits polish the boards and get back on the water. You can watch this blog to see times and dates we'll be running. Congratulations this year to Gemma, Adam,Lucy, Nick and Nat for being selected for this years SW zone squad.

Wave Riders active again!
14th April

The good weather over the Easter period has seen the team getting active again. We were very lucky to have Costa from SW lakes come over to spend a day working on freestyle techniques. The wind conditions improved as the day went on which led to a very wet finish to the day for many of the team! Our next big event is the visit of SW windsurfing over the weekend of the 17th and 18th of April, with a training day on the Saturday and racing on the Sunday. Well done to our squad members for a very successful Easter training weekend at Weymouth, it looks like we should see some good tussles this year in several classes particularly Nick against Finn in the 5.5 class Watch this space for results. Duncan seems to think his extra fitness will give him the edge over Bob or will old age and treachery win again?

Watch out for the fish!

Watch there's a splash about. We are looking forward to welcoming back an old friend, Tom who has volunteered to help out with the team whilst Bob and Dunc are away. You should be expecting a call to tell you when we're running again. Probably the 9th of May.Old age and treachery won the day at the SWW event, keep trying Dunc and Jack!

Duncan has kindly offered to run the wsurfing on Saturday. The forecast is for the wind to drop a bit in the afternoon after the gale has gone through, so we are going to run 1pm to 3pm. Have a great afternoon. I have dropped some short boards down and SW winds are ideal for giving it a go.
