The weekend of the 17th and 18th saw the Feva fleet return to St Mawes for a training day and open meeting. This year the weather was much better on the Saturday and visitors from Fowey, Penzance, Camel and Stithians enjoyed some training with Bob and Feva guru Duncan. After a slow windless start on Sunday the boats enjoyed five races and this year Nat and Christian went one better winning the event. Well done to all who attended and thanks to the visitors for travelling and making it such an enjoyable day.

As I write the team should be in the air flying off for the World championships, but the weather and helicopter problems have grounded us and we wait for the late boat across instead.Good luck to all the Roseland teams have a successful and enjoyable weekend. |

Sorry for a rather long deay but it has been a busy few weeks as usual. Firstly congratulations to Heidi, Jan and Helen for successfully completing their beginners course supported by the RYA well done ladies. The racing scene has been rather busy with some super successes for our team members. At the Feva nationals over the bank holiday weekend Jack and Chris sailed a fantastic series to end equal on points with the winners only losing on the last race rule, tough luck but still a fantastic result.Locally Nat and Christian continue to lead the local Feva series after their win at Penzance. Finally, travelling again, Ross took first place at the Junior Nationals 4.5m classat Rutland last weekend. The light winds also saw Bob takng advantage of rowing skills to pump around the marathon and finish in second place |
