The RYA powerboat scheme has three initial levels and we offer tuition in all of these.

The Level One is a basic introduction, the Level Two is certificate of competence.

On completion of the Level Two course you can apply to the RYA to change this award to an international certificate of competence which is now required in many European countries before you can take a boat out. We offer a short practical assessment to experienced helms who need this certificate.

The Safety boat course is a rescue boat driver course. You need a degree of competence to take the course and it concentrates on rescue techniques, an essential for all club rescue boat drivers. The courses will included tuition in planning and displacement boats.

Once you have achieved the level two certificate you can also hire our powerboats, we have two specialist hire Ribs a 4.5m Zodiac with 50hp and a 5.3m Bombard with a 75hp. They are licensed for 4 and 6 respectively.
