In peak season the choice may be limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. We now have a wide range of boats to suit your temperament and skills!

Drascombe Longboat a larger version of the famous Lugger. She has a small cabin with one bunk, furling headsail, main and mizzen. She is also powered by a Mercury 5hp four strke with an external tank to give a long cruising range. An idea boat to go off exploring for the day or longer!

Laser Vago a new performance rotomoulded boat from laser. Complete with trapeze and asymmetric spinnaker. Only recommended for those with experience of performance dinghies.

Dart 16 a great first time Cat. All the thrills of sailing fast on two hulls with tough rotomoulded hulls. Comes with a single trapeze.

RS Tera the new kids single hander from RS. Looks more of a real boat than the Oppy and it's fun, responsive and suitable for adults as well up to about 60kg.

RS Feva perhaps the replacement for the Mirror? This class is now recognised as a pathway class for the RYA and youngsters all over the country are getting their first taste of asymmetric sailing in a Feva. Ideal for us teaching the new stage four course.

The Wayfarers: The ideal family and cruising dinghy ‘nuff said’.

The Coble: She is the ideal boat for your ‘Swallows and Amazon’ adventure. She is easy to sail and has a 3.3hp motor to get you home if the wind drops.

The Wanderer is the wayfarers smaller sister, at fourteen feet long she is lighter and a bit more lively than the wayfarers and ideal for two adults or one and a couple of kids.

Laser Stratos : This is the modern training dinghy. She is fun to sail and has an asymmetric spinnaker just like all the modern high performance dinghies.

Laser II: She is the liveliest of our hire boats with a large conventional spinnaker and a trapeze to really get the most out of the wind!

Toppers, the first plastic beach boat, still great fun to sail, easy to rig and launch and good racing around the country.

Picos: Out of the main season we may have some of our fleet of Picos available for hire. They are the main teaching boat for us. They are centremainsheet like most modern boats and can also carry a jib, great fun for kids and adults alike.
